This page welcomes all fans, supporters, devotees and family members of The Twelfth Night Theatre. Located in the leafy, inner Brisbane suburb of Bowen Hills and fitted with a seating capacity of 520 it is popularly known as the theatre where "every seat is a good seat" and where every show is the best you've ever seen. It has the distinction of being the only privately owned theatre in A

ustralia. Neither the theatre nor its productions receive any form of Government subsidy. Twelfth Night Theatre stands on land donated by Majorie and Brian Johnstone. In 1980, the Queensland Government of the time sold the theatre into private ownership and it is because of the support of the people of Brisbane that it stands today; a gracious and welcoming theatre presenting popular productions. As a courtesy for those who have attended and enjoyed the THEATREROO shows in The Basement at the Twelfth Night Theatre over the last couple of years this post has been allowed on this page to draw attention to new performances by the company at a new location, namely PIP Theatre at Milton. The current season of "PERFECT WORLD" closes tonight but tickets are still available for matinee and evening performances at the new venue. MATT NEWNHAM, pictured here, has been a much loved regular in Theatreroo shows and is presently playing the role of the disillusioned soldier. In her role as Fran in the stage musical BABY BOOMER local performer SORCHA MORGAN represents so many of the young Australians growing up in the 1950's and 60's.
