Hi all,

Reflecting on the last year or so. We’ve had the privilege of working on a wide range of projects, including fantastic shows with local councils and community groups, touring artists, and numerous recording sessions and sound designs in our studio.

We’ve provided sound support for our friends at UQ Art Museum, Metro Arts, Institute of Modern Art, Basket of Hammers, Room40, The Cave Inn, as well as for local and international bands and the wider sound art and noise community. Along the way, we’ve also had the opportunity to work with iconic Australian musicians, and to deliver sound design and AV services for our corporate clients.

The year ahead brings increased capacity across our sound design, studio work, and live events. This growth wouldn’t be possible without our excellent crew and trusted suppliers, who continue to be an essential part of what we do.

Pictured here is one of our favourite shows, featuring some of our favourite gear — the AT Professional TLA 1.4 system used here in quad surround. A great system for live and surround.

This is a great memory of Bleach Festival, a few years ago now. Tonepacer supplied a PA system to cover a few thousand at Burleigh Heads. We are proud of our thoughtful event outcomes when it comes to happy musicians and their audience.

Got to mix at the Zoo across many different genres, consoles, crew and temperatures.

The sound, lighting, vision, numerous techs and touring peeps will miss this unique and vibrant venue.

I came in to the Zoo many years after Nicole Perry was there from its inception with Natives of Bedlam. One of the few venues mid nineties we could play electronic and industrial music.

Much love to Derek Bovill and the countless techs who inhabited the walls Joc and C held strong.

So many stories …
