The Princess Theatre, Brisbane

The Princess Theatre, Brisbane Queensland’s oldest-standing theatre, The Princess, is Brisbane’s newest home for live music and performing arts.

The Princess Theatre reopened to the public in October 2021 as a sister venue to Brisbane icon, The Tivoli. The purchase and revitalisation of the 133-year-old theatre is helmed by The Tivoli owners, brothers Steve and Dave Sleswick. The thoughtfully restored State Heritage building is home to a state-of-the-art performance auditorium designed for a standing capacity of 950, and a seated theatre capacity of 500.
