Last month my textile bowls were part of the Threads exhibition in Sandgate alongside some truly talented artists. And I keep getting asked how do you make these?

So I’m running the workshop again. 🌿

Soft Vessels is a two hour workshop where you’ll learn to form your own textile bowl and begin adding fabric scraps and stitches to make it completely and beautifully yours.

No experience needed, just a curiosity and a willingness to try something new. And if you’re a more seasoned stitcher looking to explore something a little different, you’ll love this too.

These bowls are slow, tactile, and genuinely satisfying to make. A perfect slow stitching project! I think you’re going to love it.

Pull Up a Chair launches next week and I cannot wait to open the door and welcome you in.

Bring your knitting, your embroidery, your crochet, your journal ~ whatever your hands love to do. Come as you are. Stay awhile.

Not sure what to bring? We have Begin Here bundles available on the day ~ little creative starter projects to spark something new.

And if you get stuck along the way, support is on hand too. This is a no-pressure, come-as-you-are kind of space.

Something I’ve been quietly dreaming of is finally here ~ and I can’t wait to share it with you.

Pull Up a Chair is a brand new monthly creative gathering at Revival Green Studio, and it’s exactly what it sounds like. A place to slow down. To create. To sit with other makers and simply enjoy the unhurried pleasure of doing something you love.

Bring whatever you’re working on ~ knitting, crochet, embroidery, stitching, scrapbooking, journalling, sketching ~ there’s no right or wrong here. Just bring yourself and your project, and we’ll take care of the rest.

We’ll have tea and coffee ready, a warm and welcoming space, support on hand if your project needs a little help, and creative starter bundles available if you’re after some fresh inspiration.

This is the kind of gathering I’ve always wanted to be part of. I hope you’ll join me. 🌿

After busy weeks, I think there’s something important about making space to create ~ not for productivity, not to achieve anything in particular, but simply because it restores something in us.

A little quiet making.
Hands busy.
Mind slower.
Soul replenished.

Sometimes creativity isn’t about making something perfect.

Sometimes it’s simply about taking a few hours to slow down… to try something new… to work with your hands… and to sit around the table with others doing the same.

That’s what Restored workshops are really about.

You don’t need to be “artistic.”
You don’t need experience.
You just need a willingness to begin.

And honestly? Some of the most beautiful moments happen when someone arrives saying “I’m not creative” and leaves surprised by what they made.
