Happy International Dance Day!

Friday's Senior's Balance Class ✨

A gentle supportive session, designed to help older adults improve stability, coordination and confidence, in their everyday movements.

Held at the end of the week, the class offers a relaxed and social environment, where participants can focus on maintaining their independence, whilst also connecting with others.

The exercises are low-impact and carefully structured, often including seated and standing movements that target core strength, posture, and joint mobility. Simple tools like chairs, resistance bands, or light weights are used, but everything is adaptable to suit different ability levels. The pace is steady, allowing everyone to move comfortably and safely.

Beyond the physical benefits, the class also plays an important role in reducing the risk of falls, which is of key concern for many Seniors.

Regular participation can lead to better balance, improved reaction time, and increased confidence when walking or performing daily tasks.
