3 years since we had our premiere season of Monsteria. 2020 has been, and 2021 will be, particularly tough for independent artists. But we want to celebrate the resilience of independent artists and independent art sector. We are
proud of Monsteria and loved the process of creating this work. So we have decided to put a few photos from the show at then our creative base, Powerhouse Stores building, on our Instagram page .
We created Monsteria working collaboratively over 7months negotiating times and space availability, often only managing to come together once a week. We discussed many aspects of our experiences as women and we let the ideas and physical explorations explode before bringing them back. What a journey and what a privilege.

Mutating Roots is headed to Melbourne in November as a part of Experimental contemporary circus festival, Sidesault Festival at The Melba Spiegeltent!
