I love doing commissions... so am super happy to have just completed a diptych for a very special client in South Carolina.

Given a remit and forming a vision for the finished piece, and how it will sit in its new home, is a chance to focus your imagination... free thinking, but with a sense of direction. It is always interesting to look back at the starting point, from where it develops and builds, each layer informing the next until that vision is achieved.

I loved the journey this piece took me on, and am truly excited to be sending it on its way around the world.

Her own travels, living in multiple countries, has developed a broad wealth of global experience and cultural absorption that underlies her work and comes alive in vibrant colour-fields or through subtle textures.
