A long time coming—these flowers are 1.5 years old!

When I first preserved my wedding flowers, I wasn’t completely happy with the pieces I made. I knew their colours would change during drying, but I really wanted to keep the original tones from the wedding day 🤍

I still had a full container of roses, so I decided to try colour correction for the first time. It felt like the perfect way to enhance them—bringing them closer to their original shades while still knowing they’re the real flowers from that moment.

I also took a different approach to the design this time. My first attempt was packed with flowers, but I’ve realised I love a more minimalist look. Less is more, and negative space can be just as impactful.

Dahlias have quickly turned into one of my favourite flowers.

I’m currently working on one of the largest pieces I’ve ever made. It includes a number of these flowers, which I actually dried almost a year ago which is hard to believe!

Special Announcement 📣

I’m so excited to say that I will be at the BrisStyle Christmas Twilight Market this Friday 20th December!

This will be my first market of this scale, being at King George Square and right before Christmas! 🎄

I’ve been so busy behind the scenes making pieces, and I can’t wait to share them with you all.

AND, I’m even more excited about this because I’m going to be sharing a stall with one of my best friends, , who has been doing markets for years and is basically a pro, so I’ll have her by my side for support! 🩵
