🌟 BTE PRESENTS 2027 🌟

After the incredible response to ALIVE, BTE Presents returns in 2027 with a brand-new original production.

EMERGE

Within us, there are always two voices.

One that reminds us to believe in who we are.
And one that demands we be more.

EMERGE follows Eden, a dancer trying to find where she belongs while navigating the voices that shape the way she sees herself.

There’s Lux, the voice of belief, reminding Eden of who she is.

And Nox, the voice of doubt and pressure, constantly demanding that she be more.

Alongside Eden are Phoebe and Celeste, two friends with their own personalities, perspectives and influence on Eden’s journey.

Together, these five characters sit at the heart of a story about identity, comparison, pressure, friendship and learning to trust yourself amongst all the noise.

Sometimes, the hardest voice to hear is our own.

EMERGE is the story of finding your way back to it.

💛 Five lead roles.
🖤 One ensemble.
💛 One story brought to life through dance.

Registrations open Monday 28 September.

🌟 BTE Presents…ALIVE 2026 🌟

We don’t quite know how to put into words how proud we are of every single dancer who took to that stage last night.

We had a story we wanted to tell, but it was each of you who brought it to life.

The support you showed one another. The friendships that were made. The encouragement backstage. The nerves you pushed through. The emotion you gave to every moment on that stage.

You didn’t just perform Alive. You made people feel it.

And if there is one thing we hope every single one of you takes away from last night, it is this:

Please start believing in yourselves a little more.💛🖤

Because last night was proof.

Proof that you can do the scary things.
Proof that you can push through the nerves.
Proof that you are capable of so much more than you sometimes give yourselves credit for.

We hope you are as proud of yourselves as we are of you.

To every dancer, choreographer, family member and person who helped bring Alive to the stage, thank you. We could never have told this story without you.

We’re so happy that Alive happened, and also incredibly sad that it’s over.

But we’re definitely not finished sharing it just yet. We can’t wait to share some snippets from the show and let you see a little of what these incredible dancers created on that stage.

For something that started as a crazy idea, it became something very, very special.

⭐ Imagine if a dance event could be built around growth, artistry and connection. ⭐

What happens on stage is only one part of a dancer’s experience.

Imagine what becomes possible when we make space for everything around it too.

Something is changing at BTE. 🖤💛

19/09/2026

⭐ Imagine if a dance event could develop the artist as much as it showcases the performer. ⭐

Performing gives dancers the chance to show what they can already do.

Exploring artistry gives them the chance to discover what else is possible.

Something is changing at BTE. 🖤💛

19/09/2026

⭐ Imagine if dancers had more opportunities to improvise, create, interpret and discover what they can do. ⭐

Creativity grows when dancers are given opportunities to explore.

Sometimes the most exciting moments happen when they are asked to make their own choices.

Something is changing at BTE. 🖤💛

18/09/2026

⭐ Imagine if dancers had an event designed to sharpen their performance, artistry and adaptability. ⭐

Dancers develop through more than rehearsing and performing choreography.

New challenges can help them discover even more of what they are capable of.

Something is changing at BTE. 🖤💛

17/09/2026

⭐ Imagine if dancers always knew what came next. ⭐

A great event should feel easy for dancers and families to navigate.

From performing to feedback to celebration, every part should have a clear purpose.

Something is changing at BTE. 🖤💛
