Fomiā€™s guitar-driven, grungy alt-rock style will get the crowd feeling like teenagers again.

Produced by 21 year-old front woman Karelia Moloney, blends heavy guitar lines and subdued melodies befitting of her satiny vocals. Hailing from Brisbaneā€™s outer suburbs, Fomi is grunge, angst, and jagged twangs that harmoniously meet to make something surprisingly sleek, dreamy, and lush.

Our Art Has No Gender talk for Brisbane Street Art is finally happening tomorrow afternoon! George Goodnow is BSAF artist up from Melbourne who we are thrilled to have joining us!

George has developed a unique and mind-bending style of work which explores feelings of disorientation, binaries, and q***rness within suburban and urban landscapes.

Desirai is a Meanjin based, Gunggari, illustration & digital artist whose powerful imagery you may have seen shared around Instagram before. She says that she ā€˜hopes her creations will empower those (especially Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander women) who can see a small part of themselves reflecting back through the artworks.ā€™

We will be talking more with Desirai about her work during 'Art Has No Gender' next Sunday for Brisbane Street Art. You can also catch her sharing her skills for a digital illustration workshop on 17th May. Check out the BSAF site for more info!

A project from Brisbane singer/songwriter Bec Hoole is an encapsulation of all things dreamy pop. Sonically and visually, Pipin endeavours to transport listeners on a journey of pure enjoyment and captivation. Named partly after The Lord Of The Rings, a very awesome puppy and a childrenā€™s storybook, Pipin is a holistic musical experience encompassing the spectrum of emotions and making you groove.

Establishing herself as one-to-watch in Brisbaneā€™s music scene with shows supporting Ball Park Music, Peach Fur, Asha Jefferies and Great Sage and playing on the lineup for Yonder Festival, Mountain Goat Valley Crawl and Valley Fiesta, Pipin has been making some serious waves in the industry.
