Artist Spotlight ~ Kassian

Since starting their project in 2019 Kassian have been gathering more and more momentum, re-
leasing records on Heist, Phonica Records and Shall Not Fade and evolving their sound from
groove-laden House towards more leftfield threads of Techno and UK Bass.

Their own imprint - Faux Poly
- launched early in 2022 and hosts three of their own releases all receiving major sup-
port by from the likes of Ben UFO, Four Tet, Floating Points, Daphni, Tom Ravenscroft (BBC R6),
Emerald (Rinse), Mary Anne Hobbs (BBC R6), George Fitzgerlad, DJ Seinfeld and more.

This year Kassian released their EP ‘Phase Two’ with the esteemed !K7 Records and are cooking up another
two EPs - one for !K7 and another for Faux Poly.

Now .fm residents and making regular stops on the international circuit, we team up with kiwi pals to host for their first show in Brisbane at the legendary

Dose Sessions #001 is now live!

In this space we plan to showcase the best in underground music, with no limitations. Each mix we will be inviting a new Doser to provide a fresh and exciting mix of their favourite tracks, no matter the genre, rhythm or style. From old gems to new and unreleased tracks and everything in between. We hope you’ll enjoy this experiment as much as we will.

First up is with a curation of old and new Garage and Breakbeat tunes, playing with old school vocals, familiar samples and a tough but wobbly rhythm. Designed not to be taken too seriously, but also very seriously. Enjoy!

With the unfortunate cancellation of our favourite festival Rabbits eat lettuce, we are excited to present our first event for the year with an escape into the woods for one night of Dose Magic. Expect the usual visual feast of projections, lighting and lasers, with a naughty selection of rave sets from our Resident DJs and some friends. Due to limitations on space, this is an invite only event for friends of the Dose Collective, with registrations open via our email [email protected]

Please email your name, number and your favourite thing about raving to be added to the list. Location info will be sent 24 hours prior to the event.

Please familiarise yourself with the burning man principles as these are the expectations we expect everyone in attendance to uphold.

🎅 It’s been a hot minute since we’ve seen you all getting weird on a dance floor, and we just wanted to wish you a Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year!! We’ve been enjoying some time exploring this beautiful planet, however the whole team will be back in 2023 locked and loaded to bring you some delicious events to quench your party thirst.
