I’ve been absent for a while. The push and pull of life is constant and I’m so grateful I have painting to get me through. I’ve been teaching at a new school and when I start a new gig I need to focus on being the best I can be for the young people. Social media falls away pretty fast! It’s nice to be back in the studio this month though. Here is a few works in progress. All of these are acrylic on canvas. I find acrylic to be very freeing and forgiving. This is super important when life gets tough because I can easily access the creative flow without stressing or having to plan too far ahead. These works are based on East Coast of Tasmania and Port Douglas (far north Qld).
