While much of the country is reaching for scarves and heaters, the Whitsundays are still serving up sunshine.

Winter here means clear blue skies, warm days by the water and evenings best spent outdoors.

Last month, our Reef Trail brought Between the Tides to Airlie Beach, filling the foreshore with incredible artists, welcoming locals and visitors alike to experience this remarkable part of Queensland.

It's the kind of place that makes you want to stay just one more day.

If you're planning a winter escape, the Whitsundays are waiting.

Every Trail leaves a lasting impression, not just on the people travelling it but on the communities that welcome us.

As visitors arrive in towns like Tambo, cafรฉs become busier, accommodation fills with guests, local businesses welcome new customers and the benefits ripple throughout the region.

It's a reminder that live music has the power to do more than entertain. It can help strengthen local economies and encourage more people to discover the incredible places that make Outback Queensland so unique.

It's something we couldn't achieve without the support of partners like Experience Outback Queensland, Australia , who share our passion for showcasing the people, places and experiences that make this part of the state so extraordinary.

Hear from Jeff at Tambo Mill Motel & Caravan Park as he shares what welcoming the Outback Trail means for his business and the wider community.

Every stop along the Outback Trail has a story to tell.

For communities like Barcaldine, welcoming Trail visitors is about more than hosting an event. It's an opportunity to showcase the town and share the warm hospitality that Outback Queensland is known for.

When people travel our Outback Trail, they don't just experience incredible live music. They discover the people, places and businesses that make each destination unique.

Hear from Sharon at Hotel Shakespeare Barcaldine as she reflects on what the Outback Trail means for her business and the wider Barcaldine community. ๐Ÿ’›

This is the Whitsundays doing what the Whitsundays does, slowing people down and immersing them in the moment.

At this year's Between the Tides, 74 Islands Distillery shared their locally made drinks with travellers.

It's the local businesses who open their doors to us that turn a music event into something memorable and unique that people carry with them well after they've left.

The perfect backdrop for Between the Tides โ˜€๐ŸŒŠ

Aligning perfectly with Reef Trail is our event partner The Hidden Sea with their mission of removing plastic from the ocean. Airlie Beach and the beautiful Whitsundays reef is something worth taking care of.
