3 Baubles will be auctioned to raise funds for Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, because they'll be busy looking after sick and injured wildlife over the festive season and need donations to help them continue their work.
Each bauble is hand cast from reclaimed porcelain, diluted to make a slip, poured into a mold, drained, and wait a day, then removed from mold, half hour polishing surface then 3 days drying out, bisque fired at 1050 Celcius for over 24hrs a cycle, 2 days later 3 hours were spent underglazing 3 coats of underglaze followed by 3 coats of clear gloss glaze, then it went to final fire vitrification at 1280 C. As you can see it takes hours of work, days of patience to make a porcelain bauble from scratch. Each bauble is definitely a 1 of a kind.

The Auction starts now , and ends Thursday December 21st 2023 at midday QLD time. Highest bid wins the bauble, your winning bid will become a donation to Lone Pine Sanctuary by you. Each Bauble will be handed over this week on Thurs/Fri/ or Sat afternoons, (you choose which afternoon), at Kenmore Village to the highest bidder of the auction for each bauble. At handover time you will show me your official receipt of recent donation to Lone Pine koala Sanctuary, or, do the donation on device in front of me. I have started this off with a personal donation of $120 to put my money where my mouth is, and I hope some of you can 'up the ante', so to speak.
