We’re bringing SKIN to The Princess Theatre this July as part of Open Season.

This work has been building for a long time, across late nights, borrowed spaces, and multiple developments, including Adelaide Fringe. Now we’re bringing it home to Brisbane for its next evolution.

To get it there, we need your support.

This isn’t just a show.
It’s a group of independent artists choosing to make something ambitious, physical, and alive, and finding a way to do it anyway.

Your donation directly supports:
- paying artists for a full week of rehearsal and performance
- the space we need to build and refine the work
- the final development of our recycled wearable designs

Happy international dance day! 🪩
Throwing it back to tech of the first official full length performance of LAMINA.
This show has been transformed through so many interactions with many wonderful dancers. So excited for it to feature once again as part of our upcoming double bill, SKIN, part of Open Season this July.

About:
Brisbane choreographer and director Jade Brider makes work that doesn't ask permission. Her company VOiiiD Collective fuses contemporary dance, sound, wearable art and visual theatre into experiences that are deliberately unsettling, politically alive and built for maximum sensory impact. SKIN brings two of their works together in a raw double bill, powered by live music from Australian-Middle Eastern artist Bcharre, whose electronic music draws deeply from his Lebanese heritage while carrying the atmospheric sweep of Berlin techno.

The line between audience and performer dissolves.
