And that's a wrap! Curtains close on - and what a wild ride its been!

An absolute HUGE big thanks to....
💖All of our amazing artists who gave it their all across 19 epic shows
💖 the thousands of arts lovers who came along and caught a show and brought a friend or a gang of friends and cheered and LOLD and loved it all
💖 the six amazing venues that hosted us for these heady ten days
💖 the techs and crew standing by with the gaffa who made it all so seamless
💖 the artists and producers of APAM who were getting on in the background with the Business of Making Art
💖 the writers, photographers, journalists and bloggers who came along and shined a light on our first ever festival so that all of Meanjin could see it all
💖 the hardworking mob at Cluster Arts who pushed and pulled the whole exciting party together!

Time for a deep breath, as the sparkles fade into memories and we attempt to wipe the glitter off... That was beautiful and silly and heartfelt and exquisite and wildly exciting and supremely satisfying.... CIRCFest 22 Meanjin - lights fade to BLACK >>>>

"I was deeply moved by the work of Na Djinang’s Arterial. After the show I was stupefied by it’s meaning and the beauty in it’s delivery. Soft and strong, non-gendered and sophisticated. I had to sit in my seat for a while after and just contemplate everything, bringing up questions – what is my own relationship to this continent’s history and my relationship as an ally to Australia’s first peoples? This performance for me showcased the new storytellers of our time, the holders, and caretakers of ancestral message."

This afternoon, the Conversation aspect takes place at Ad Astra, just a few minutes walk from The Tivoli Brisbane.

Afterwards we head down to see one of Australia's most beautiful contemporary circus shows, Knee Deep by Casus Creations.
