This back piece was done over
Three sessions and took Plenty of trust.

Large colour tattoos deserve time. By breaking this piece into multiple sessions, we allowed Grace’s skin to heal properly between appointments, giving every section the best chance to settle beautifully and ensuring the final result is something she’ll wear proudly for life. Great tattoos aren’t rushed—they’re built.

Grace travelled hours to be tattooed by me, and I honestly don’t think I’ll ever stop being humbled by the faith my clients put in me. Knowing someone is willing to make that journey to sit in my chair means more than I can put into words.

I’m so thankful I had the privilege to tattoo such a nurturing moment.

✨ Today’s piece for Tari 💜🗝️

Nothing makes me happier than seeing a concept come full circle. Today we added this custom key to perfectly complement the jewel-inspired upper arm piece I created for Tari previously.

Keeping the same ornate filigree, silver metalwork, rich amethyst gemstones and flowing purple ribbon meant the two tattoos feel like they were always meant to belong together. The little bee was the perfect finishing touch, adding a personal meaning while tying everything into the story of the piece.

I absolutely love creating large, cohesive projects like this. There’s something so satisfying about designing tattoos that flow with the body and build into a beautiful collection over time rather than feeling like separate pieces.

Thank you for trusting me again, Tari. I can’t wait to see where we take this collection next. 💜
