Here’s the video I have playing all day, showing you how to make your own noofie! It took a long time to get to this point. When I started 30 years ago, I would hide my tray because I didn’t like people watching. Partly because I didn’t want people to copy and partly because I didn’t like people looking at me. It’s taken 3 decades, but I’ve let that go now. Not only do I sell the kits with step by step instructions, but I actually filmed it to show you what to do. What a turn around. It’s so freeing to be able to give this to everyone, knowing how much fun and pride it can bring. As for me, I will be concentrating on the specialty one of a kind pieces. Here’s a bit of beautiful history for you. When we closed for renovations last week, we decided to upgrade the counter. When I closed the noofies shop, one counter went to the crystal shop in town and I kept the smaller one. Of course we had to bring that one to the next shop! Hello! Here is my new page, Bright fairy shop https://www.facebook.com/share/1G85pQiZLn/?mibextid=wwXIfr I’ll be cancelling The Emerald Forest soon (because everybody called it the fairy shop😆) and I’d love you to join me as I continue making the fairy shop even more magical! I’m very happy to say I have finished my first 4 fairy dioramas! I will post them for sale starting around 7 (Vic time) tonight. Some have real crystals, some have “magic balls“ (see previous post😆) goats wool hair, real eyelashes and a sprinkle of magic. There is 1 small ($70) and 3 large frames ($90). Once I’ve posted all the photos for a fairy, feel free to message me if you would like to buy her, but please use my shop page The Emerald Forest as I don’t use noofies anymore. (Please don’t message now as I won‘t be checking until tonights posts.) Any that I don’t sell will be available in my retail shop at Christmas and I will be adding more as time permits. I have made the fairies, just all that pesky stock for the shop that takes so much time unpacking!

I’ll be finishing off my first dioramas today and should be able to sell them tonight once I’ve taken photos. Please like my shop page The Emerald Forest if you’re interested, as that is where I will be answering any requests, I rarely use this page now. Ok, let’s get back to the fairy dioramas shall we! After the last week of unpacking stock and fixing up fountains, today I can finally get back to the fun stuff! I’ve been painting inside the shadow boxes in between serving customers, and now while they’re drying I’m sorting through crystals, plants and strange magical otherworldly things to add to each scene. So exciting!

I’ve just had 3 pallets of stock arrive at the shop which basically means the rest of this week and most of next will be unpacking it. I’m so close to seeing what my fairies will look like in their frames! All the plants and little extras have arrived. Grrrr but time will make it all the sweeter, I’m sure.

I’m up to the dressing stage. I wanted to have lots of little extra touches. I bought tiny little butterflies and add a diamanté to each one. Here is the very first fairy, getting ready for the next step, the shadow box frame. You might not even notice but there’s 3 of those butterflies in her hair!
