Dolly Parton’s passing has touched hearts all around the world, including ours here in Boyup Brook.

For so many of us, she wasn’t just a country music icon — she was a beacon of joy, generosity, and pure storytelling magic. Some of our CMCBB members were lucky enough to see her perform live in Perth a few years ago, and they still speak about it as one of the greatest showcases they’ve ever witnessed. Dolly lit up the stage with that unmistakable sparkle, the kind that made you feel like she was singing just for you.

Her music, her kindness, and her spirit shaped generations of artists and fans, and her legacy will continue to inspire the country music community for decades to come. Today, we remember her with love, gratitude, and deep admiration for a life lived boldly, brightly, and beautifully.

Matched Funding for Artists and Artist Groups – Intermediate supports artists to build on existing private sector fundraising experience and strengthen their practice over time.

It is designed for artists and artist groups who have some private sector fundraising experience and are ready to develop more consistent and strategic approaches to private sector support.

This opportunity provides matched funding alongside fundraising capability development through group training, peer-to peer learning and one on one support and advice. Matched funding is provided on a dollar-for-dollar basis for eligible private sector income raised, up to $10,000.

The aims of the fund are for artists and artist groups to move beyond one-off or informal fundraising activity and develop consistent, strategic approaches to generating private sector support.

Join acclaimed Western Australian songwriters TOBY BEARD, Carus Thompson, Nathan Gaunt and Helen Shanahan Music for an intimate 'in the round' concert, where songs are shared alongside the stories that inspired them. Taking turns on stage together, each artist will perform original music and offer audiences a rare glimpse into the creative process behind the songs.

Toby Beard is one of Australia’s most celebrated independent touring artists. Renowned for her powerhouse vocals and captivating live performances, Toby has spent more than two decades performing across Australia and Europe and recently opened for Santana in Germany.
