Hey everyone! Just touching base because, honestly, the "pile" has been feeling a bit like a mountain lately. 🏔️
Whether it’s work deadlines, social burnout, or just the general noise of life, 😞 I know that "paralysed by the mountain" feeling all too well.
When you’re an ADHD adult, it’s not just about being busy—it’s the mental load of trying to track a thousand open tabs in your brain at once.
If you’re feeling like me today, here is my go-to focus point: Zoom all the way in. 🔎
Forget the top of the pile. Forget tomorrow. Forget the next hour. Just pick one tiny, singular thing you can finish in the next five minutes. Do that Facebook post 🙄, sending that one "low-stakes" email, or just stand up to stretch - ahh feels good 🤪.
Completing one tiny thing creates a hit of dopamine that thins the fog just enough to see the next step.
Be kind to your brain today. You aren’t "behind"; you’re just navigating a world built for different wiring.
One tiny win is still a win.
