Last week, the Alpha HPA team hosted a lunch to recognise the hard work of everyone on site, and we were incredibly proud to see our entire I&C crew receive the June Award and Recognition!

The award acknowledged our team's willingness to adapt to changing site conditions, work collaboratively and maintain a proactive approach throughout the project.

At I&C, we believe strong projects are built on strong relationships. We value opportunities like these to work closely with our clients, foster positive partnerships and create a culture where teamwork, communication and mutual respect drive successful outcomes.

A big thank you to the Alpha HPA team for the recognition and hospitality, and congratulations to our entire crew for representing I&C with professionalism every day. Well deserved!🙌

Congratulations to the McCosker Contracting team on reaching this impressive milestone. We’re proud to be working alongside the team on the Alpha HPA Project. Well done to everyone involved!👏

150,000 hours worked without a lost time injury 👷🏻‍♀️

A fantastic achievement by the McCosker Contracting team as they mark 12 months on site helping us construct Stage Two of our HPA First Facility in Gladstone.

Achievements like this don’t happen by chance. They reflect the care, commitment and focus of the people on the ground every day, working safely with our team as we build the world’s largest single-site manufacturing facility for high purity aluminium materials.

Alpha HPA Project Manager Mark Cornwell said the milestone was one the team should be proud of. “Great projects need a solid foundation, and this milestone reflects the hard work, collaboration and safety focus that have underpinned the project over the past 12 months.”

Congratulations to everyone involved and thank you for continuing to set the standard as we continue bringing this project to life.

This month at I&C, we’ve been focusing on mental health and the importance of looking out for ourselves and each other.
On Tuesday, we came together for our safety meeting and had the privilege of hearing from the team at Bobs Garage, who are doing incredible work supporting men's mental health in the Gladstone Community. Their mission is to build a network of support for everyday men, creating a space where connection, understanding, and real help can make a meaningful impact to the community.
Organisations like Bob’s Garage continue to show what it means to genuinely support the Gladstone community, consistently stepping up to fill gaps where support is needed and making a real difference in people’s lives.

In an industry where it’s often easier to stay quiet and “push through,” conversations like these are important. They remind us that it’s okay to speak up, check in with your mates, and take the time to look after yourself, both on and off the job.

At I&C, we’re committed to building a culture where mental health is openly talked about, where support is always there, and where no one feels like they have to go through tough times alone.

To show our support, the I&C team also purchased TradeMutt shirts, helping raise awareness and backing a cause that’s making a real difference in communities like ours.

A big thank you to Bob’s Garage for taking the time to share what they do and for the positive impact you continue to make across Gladstone.

With International Women's day on Sunday, I&C is proud to celebrate the incredible women in our workplace and throughout our community. The leaders, mentors, friends and family members who make a difference every day. 💜

Today, we're celebrating one of our own - meet Cheyenne!
Cheyenne is forging her path in the electrical industry with hard work, resilience and the confidence to step outside her comfort zone. One of her proudest moments has been reaching a point in her career where she is no longer seen as the "female electrician" but simply as an electrician.
Her preparation, strong work ethic and willingness to learn makes her a valued part of the I&C team and we are lucky to have her on board.

What advice would she give young women thinking about entering the trade?
"Back yourself. You don't need to know everything at the start - just be willing to learn and give it your all"

We are proud to celebrate Cheyenne this International Women's Day. When women thrive, we all rise. 💜

Both have been a massive part of the crew throughout their time with us, and we’re proud to celebrate their transition to fully qualified Electricians.
We’re excited to have them continue with I&C as valued tradesmen on our team. Big congratulations guys! Looking forward to having you around for plenty more years 😊

Supporting our community during the festive season has become a meaningful tradition for us at I&C 🎄🎅
This year marks our second time taking part in the Anglicare Gladstone Adopt a Family program, and we were thrilled to support two local families in the lead up to Christmas.
Our team came together once again, contributing an incredible range of essentials, gifts, and financial support to help brighten the season and provide a little relied beyond the holidays.
Community is at the heart of what we do, and we are grateful for the opportunity to make a meaningful difference for those who need it most.
