🎄 Christmas on Clayton is getting an upgrade! 🎄

We’re excited to say that a brand-new driveway is going in, which should make it much easier for everyone to get down and enjoy this year's display.

The best part? We’ve got a little more time up our sleeves this year to get everything ready, which means plenty of planning, building, and Christmas magic is already underway.

There’s still a lot to do, but we can’t wait to share what we’ve been working on. Keep an eye on this page because there’ll be sneak peeks, updates, and maybe even a few surprises along the way.

Sorry we’ve been a bit quiet lately… somehow this year absolutely escaped us 😅

Between settling into the house, fixing things, planning this year’s display and wondering where the last 5 months went, we’ve been flat out at Christmas on Clayton 🎄

We also realised we never officially announced that last Christmas we raised over $1300 for Staffy and Bully Breed Rescue Inc. 🐾 Which honestly blows our minds considering it was our very first year at Boya. Thank you to every single person who visited, donated, took photos and supported us. You all made it something really special ❤️

Now it’s full steam ahead getting ready for this year’s display! The brand new driveway is finally going in this week which means no more potholes, a smoother walk down the hill and much easier access for wheelchairs, prams and the likes. Fancy AND functional… look at us being responsible adults 😂

We honestly cannot wait to see everyone again soon.
Also just a friendly reminder… IT’S ONLY 221 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS 🎅🎄✨

As you probably know, we had a bushfire in our area yesterday — our first one since moving in. Welcome to Hills life… floods ✔️ fires ✔️ just waiting on the plague of locusts now.

Huge thanks to our neighbours who popped in to check on us and see if we needed help wrangling the Critter Creek crew. Thankfully the wind changed and we didn’t need to evacuate, but we know many of our neighbours and community did. Times like these are a good reminder to check in on those around you. We as a community are in this together.

Massive appreciation to the volunteer and career brigades, helitacks, SES, police, and everyone who dropped everything and got stuck in to get it under control so quickly — absolute bloody legends.

To everyone in Boya and surrounds — we hope you’re all safe, sound, and back home. And thank you to everyone who messaged offering safe places, spare paddocks, and help with the animals. It truly means more than you know ❤️

We’re sorry we had to end the season a bit earlier than planned. Between moving house and putting the lights together this year, it definitely took its toll after a massive few months.
Thank you so much for your understanding and support. We’ll be back next year and are hoping to return to our usual season timeframes — bigger, brighter and better rested! ✨🎄

What a ride.
The laughs.

The bubbles.

The neighbours showing patience, kindness and support.
The messages, waves, smiles and thank-yous.
Honestly… our hearts are FULL ❤️
This was our first year of Christmas on Clayton, and while we didn’t go full send like usual (you all noticed 😅), we wanted to test the waters — and WOW, you showed up in the best way.

Now for the real talk:
We are TIRED tired.
“Haven’t sat on the couch in weeks” tired.
“The dog thinks we’ve moved out” tired.
“Why did we think this was a good idea at our age” tired 😂
So tonight is it.
