Box Hill City Band

Box Hill City Band Box Hill City Band is a community band located Box Hill in Melbourne's eastern suburbs. With 125 years of history BHCB had many stories to tell.

Box Hill City Band has been a performing brass band since 1889, and first performed on 24th May 1889 for the Queen Victoria birthday celebrations. Today Box Hill City Band is conducted by Simon Brown and has performed at the top of its' grade achieving equal Second Place in B Grade at the 2014 Yamaha Australian National Band Championships.

Looking forward to hearing Whitehorse Brass’ Broden, Quinn and Mark performing with Australia Brass in Kerkrade at the World Music Competition.

Michael our Vice President and his partner Jemima have travelled to Holland for the big performance to provide some local cheering in the crowd.

What a thrill for these members of BHCB Inc. to be competing against the best brass bands in the world, including Cory Band and Wellington Brass just to name a few!! Good luck and play well.
