Meet CASEY FOSTER as KING HEROD
Casey is an Australian vocalist and entertainer who has been singing and acting out songs since he could walk and talk.
His musical career spans from the age of 16, evolving from stage manager to sound production, as well as recording, being a voiceover artist and managing other artists.
He loves all forms of live acts, ranging from one-man bands through to full theatre productions. This is his first production with HTG and is enjoying bringing King Herod to life.
As an entertainer, he draws inspiration from the likes of Lionel Ritchie and John Farnham , just to name a few. Casey has developed a vocal style and a versatile repertoire which covers multiple genres. Visit www.caseyfoster.com.au for links to music and projects.

When the locals in a small Russian town learn that an undercover government inspector is coming for a surprise visit, an unfortunate case of mistaken identity sends the whole village spiralling into panic and greed. Witty, smart and farcical, this timely adaptation of Nikolai Gogol’s classic play satirically exposes the corruption of a provincial town.
Jeffrey Hatcher’s modern translation is fast-paced and runs to about 2 hours, with 25 characters flexibly divided among various numbers of actors. Please note, there are some mild adult themes in this play.

As part of our commitment to training and developing our members / talent base, HTG periodically holds Playreading Nights of selected works. These events are also useful in helping the Group evaluate the suitability of the work for future Production. Attendees may offer and be selected to read a role, or part thereof, or just observe. At the end of the reading a discussion will take place about the work generally and it's suitability for Production by HTG. Complimentary Tea and coffee will served at break.

Meet PEACH ROBB as MARY MAGDALENE
Peach is beyond excited to be sharing the stage with the extraordinary 2026 cast of Jesus Christ Superstar. She has been an active and enthusiastic member of HTG since moving to the Highlands nearly ten years ago and is passionate about promoting the arts regionally wherever she can. Peach has been performing most of her life from youth theatre at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe to her various roles behind a mic today, whether that be in a stage production, hosting a murder mystery, laying down vocals or emceeing an event. When she’s not on a stage, she can be found in the audience of one of her children’s latest performances, on the air at Highland FM or perched at her standing desk pursuing her PhD. All done with her supportive anam-charaid by her side.

Meet GABRIEL KOLOVOS as JUDAS ISCARIOT
Gabe got his start singing in church for the local liturgy group. The discovery of electric guitar as a teenager changed this trajectory considerably. Gabe has since played with a number of bands, gigged around the Illawarra and works for a commercial music firm in Sydney. This is his first musical with HTG, and he hopes a healthy love for 70s rock will translate into a faithful rendition of the show. Gabe adores the process of preparing a show, and has used rehearsals as a well-needed excuse to visit his Mum more. Gabe loves listening to concept albums, spouting rock trivia and lining up for the front of mosh pits.

Meet NATHAN LOMAS as JESUS
Nathan has been performing in Musical Theatre for 10 years. He has held a variety of lead roles such as Jean Valjean in Les Misérables, Jamie in The Last 5 Years (both Albatross Musical Theatre Company), Henry Jekyll in Jekyll and Hyde (Hornsby Musical Society) and Chris in Miss Saigon (Roo Theatre Company). Nathan loves the way theatre allows for expression and can offer new and fresh perspectives to a range of life's events. This is Nathan’s first production with HTG and is very excited to be playing the role of his hero Jesus. He feels that to be a part of this hard-working cast and production team is a privilege and an experience he will never forget. Nathan hopes that you enjoy this show as much as he has enjoyed performing in it.
