This has been a very hard post to make, especially after such a successful Halloween event but alas, here we are.
As some of you know, I have a couple of chronic health issues that I felt I had been managing well but my body has chosen violence and very steadily so. I won’t get into it too much but because of my Ehlers-Danlos syndrome the tendons in my hands and fingers are becoming too damaged, to the point where my fingers are starting to dislocate just from me grabbing something lightly. I’m seeing a hand specialist and will most likely have to wear ring splints on multiple fingers.
Due to this and a few other concerns that need to be taken care of, my doctor has essentially forbade me from tattooing; effective immediately. Unfortunately this means I will be leaving Bowral Tattoos and will have to move on to a different part of my life. It is a huge shock and I feel like the rug I’ve been making for four years has just been pulled out from underneath me but I’m incredibly grateful to every single person that’s been a part of this, no matter how seemingly small.
The biggest thank you to everyone at Bowral for being there for me and the most amazing team to work with and to every client and even just every interaction I’ve had in the shop has been more than I could ever ask for and I won’t ever forget🖤
To anyone who was wanting a project or flash design from me, message the shop and anyone there is more than capable of taking care of you
