Eight years ago, TDM Productions produced and delivered a bespoke architectural lighting installation for The Beresford, designed to redefine the venue’s visual identity and strengthen its presence during the Sydney Mardi Gras campaign.
The project focused on integrating dynamic architectural lighting into the building’s structure, creating a flexible and fully programmable system capable of evolving colour palettes, intensity and movement to suit Mardi Gras celebrations while remaining adaptable for year-round activations. More than decorative illumination, the installation was conceived as a permanent design feature — enhancing atmosphere, extending the venue’s brand expression into the streetscape, and reinforcing its position as one of Sydney’s leading entertainment destinations.
As i stepped away in 2025 after ten years at The Beresford, I remain incredibly proud of this installation — both for its technical ex*****on and for the enduring visual legacy it continues to provide the venue.
