Prolific and eclectic, Ostaria Selir painted everything from cosmic worlds and distant stars to lush landscapes and delicate botanicals. Never exhibited in her lifetime, her extraordinary collection was inherited by her family - and now, for one month only at the Keith Institute, you can experience - and even acquire - one of her remarkable works.

The Tatiara Palette Painters & Keith Art Group Exhibition is shaping up to be a BIG one, showcasing the incredible talent and creativity of our local artists.

Have you met JoJo?

We’re thrilled to welcome artist JoJo Spook as our artist in residence for the 2026 Intergenerational Art Festival!

Every Friday throughout Term 3, JoJo will be working with children, young people and residents across our community, including Carol Murray Children's Centre, Bordertown Primary School, Bordertown High School, Mundulla Primary School and Bordertown Residential Aged Care.

Together, they’ll be creating an incredible collection of sea-inspired artworks that will come together as a very special “Under the Sea” installation in the gardens of the Tatiara Civic Centre.

We can’t wait to see what our community creates when generations come together to imagine, make and play! Stay tuned to see how this wonderful project unfolds.

The 2026 Intergenerational Art Festival officially launches Thursday 15 October. We can’t wait to share it with you!

Join us for an engaging conversation with the artists behind Vessel, as they discuss their work, inspiration and the many ways a vessel can be interpreted.

A vessel can be many things. It can hold, protect, carry, preserve and transform.

In this exhibition, artists explore the many forms and meanings of the vessel. The works invite us to think about what we hold onto, what we let go of, and what we carry with us as we move through life.

From the practical to the symbolic, each vessel tells a story about people, places, memories and the things we value.
