It's taken many years, but there's been lots of pauses too, for many reasons. Finally, it's finished. I'm just going to post up all the photos, straight off the phone unedited. Here you go.

A small watercolour study, sunrise in my hometown. Thanks Sharon Price for the reference photos.
When I began on this little one I was on a mission...to do more art and HAVE FUN. But on starting I felt I had no idea, it wasn't working. Half way through, layer by layer it began to take shape, then when I thought I had more to do, I realised it was finished....brushes down, step away! I'm happy 😊

A short note on ai and chatgpt images. If you send them to me and say that's what you want, that's not what you'll get. Or can I tattoo that, the answer is no. They're only helpful to give me an idea of what you want.
Thanks 😘

My little 5×5cm sketch book has had a few additions to it. This subject was a half eaten apple. While I did my little watercolour, my grandkids were sitting next to me doing their art. Pretty special 🥰

A bit of a follow up on my post regarding getting back into drawing...
I have seen mini (5x5cm) sketch books and travel art kits, and the amazing art people create with them. I decided to treat myself to some of this. It will be ideal for travel on my motorbike, or anytime! It gives me no excuses to not create! Here's my first go at this mini painting/journaling, hopefully the first page of many books.
Pigface flowers in the sun. 5x5cm watercolour.

I have finished it, but can anyone see what it is?
