Lifeline provides such an important service to people during some of their most difficult moments, and itā€™s a cause Iā€™m very proud to support again this year.

Iā€™m back! Sorry for disappearing. This year I apparently decided to make every major life decision at once.

Iā€™m getting married in two months, Iā€™ve officially moved out of Sydney and to Bowral full time, I bought a dog, Wesley, and next week I start a new job in real estate.

Iā€™ve absolutely loved being a full-time artist for the past year and a half, and Iā€™m still painting, taking commissions and exhibiting. But for a few different reasons, Iā€™ve decided to add something new into the mix. Self employed life can make things like buying a house slightly less straightforward, but I also miss working in a team, Iā€™m genuinely interested in real estate and Iā€™m really excited to learn a completely different industry.
So yes, thanks for sticking around while I casually restructure my entire life.

Moving last week also forced me to confront several past lives. The air-dry clay from 2017 when I was going to become a ceramicist, embroidery kits, Learn Swahili books, the resin art phase andā€¦ inexplicably, a bag of socks I was apparently going to personalise.

An entire archive of past selves, loaded into a truck and sent to storage. For now.
Anyway, thatā€™s where Iā€™ve been. Madly painting, moving house, planning a wedding and completing a real estate certificate.
Thanks for sticking around while I ghosted.

Growing up in the Southern Highlands, I thought I knew all the places. However, coming back as an adult, and now exploring it with Wesley, Iā€™ve realised thereā€™s always something new to discover.
From old favourites to hidden gems, I somehow never knew existed.
