The incredible Nancy Denis (deh-knee) lit up Bondi Pavilion Theatre with a powerful lyrical retelling of her own story in M’ap Boulé.

The emotional resonance of Nancy’s performance stayed with the audience long after the stage went dark, leaving an unforgettable impression on everyone in attendance!

Bondi Festival 2026 — you were an absolute DREAM! 🤩 Thank you to everyone who came out and joined us for an epic final weekend 🙌

Over the last three weeks, we soaked in the infinite glory of music, art, comedy, theatre, live performances & so much more. Bold ideas, big voices and unbeatable energy took centre-stage in Bondi, forging lasting memories shared by everyone who attended 🫶

🤔 Is it too early to think about next year? Probably.

The Last Great Hunt and Whiskey & Boots have settled in to the Bondi Pavilion High Tide Room for a live performance that’s as hilarious as it is painfully relatable. It is a fiery, critically acclaimed theatrical cabaret written by and starring Sydney-based performer of Haitian descent, Nancy Denis (deh-knee). Blending re-enactments, original music, and poetry, this stunning performance seamlessly ties humour with important conversations about human connection, culture & community.

Join M’ap Boulé writer, creator and performer, Nancy Denis for this intensive workshop, where she unpacks the creation of M’ap Boulé and shares how she forms and creates new ideas. So, if you have an idea or something you are already working on, this workshop is an excellent foundation for you to share your vision with like-minded people and tap into the invaluable edge that community brings.

🐩Catch festival favourite Pavilion Paw Parade, where every pooch is a star, grab a feed from the food markets and listen to live music in the park, witness the hillarious antics of Hot Department at Amalgamation or try your hand at beating AI in Pigeon Fool. Or, if you feel like taking the ride of a lifetime, hop aboard Back of The Bus and experience a journey like never before.

With some sessions of Back of The Bus already sold out and Bingo, Burlesque & Bondi Vybes down to the last few tickets, we are getting ready for our biggest weekend yet.

They had 35 minutes to play the game to the best of their human abilities. The results were surprising 😅
