NEWS JUST IN...
We have just learnt that artist Lucy Culliton has won the Sulman Prize at the Art Gallery of NSW with her painting titled 'Toolah'.

Lucy has been a guest judge here at the Raglan for our annual art comps in years gone by. Her skills and eye are incredible. This is a gorgeous painting and a well deserved win.
Congratulations Lucy.

The judge was Del Kathryn Barton, and she was pretty effusive about it. She said: "This is a painting by Lucy at the peak of her powers. Pictorially ambitious and technically consummate, it generously offers audiences a tender moment of gorgeousness from Lucy's life. Just wow!"

SOUTH EAST NSW Creative Directory Launched!

We are thrilled to share that the SEA Creative Directory is live and we want Artists and other Arts Workers from Snowy Monaro, Eurobodalla and Bega Valley to get listed!

Our wonderful sponsors at South East Arts have designed the specifically for the South East NSW regional creative community! It includes all artforms and promotes engagement oppotunities for creative industries.

This searchable database will be used to promote and connect artists with customers, find collaborators, and showcase the rich cultural fabric of our region.
it links to your existing website / folio / socials and helps people find your presence online. The more creatives we have listed, the more impact it will have!

We are thrilled to announce the Award Winners of the 2026 Bombala Art Prize!

1. Terri Tuckwell (Pambula, NSW) claimed first prize!
Terri's beautiful impression of the rivers surface shimmering with reflected light and autumn colours on a wild windy day was a clear favourite with the audience.
2. Sid Ponsford (Bombala, NSW) took out Second Prize
3. Deborah Clarke (Alice Springs, NT) collected Third Prize

Among the chorus of autumn colours, the paint brushes are at work. There's a chilled breeze that feels like it's blowing straight from the Snowy Mountains but the artists are rugged up and busy creating their inspired works along the Bombala River for the Bombala Art Prize.
