• Grace Bradley: Mother who reluctantly takes over directing the Christmas pageant.
• Bob Bradley: Grace's supportive, witty husband.
• Beth Bradley: Daughter and the story's narrator.
• Charlie Bradley: Beth's younger brother.
The Herdman Kids ("The Worst Kids in the History of the World")
• Ralph Herdman: Oldest brother, plays Joseph.
• Imogene Herdman: Loud, bossy sister, plays Mary.
• Leroy Herdman: Plays one of the wise men.
• Claude Herdman: Plays the other wise man.
• Ollie Herdman: Puts on the shepherd role.
• Gladys Herdman: Smallest and fiercest, plays the Angel of the Lord.
Other Children and Adults
• Alice Wendleken: Prissy, goody-two-shoes classmate.
• Maxine: Pageant narrator.
• Elmer Hopkins: Minister's son.
• Reverend Hopkins: Local church minister.
• Mrs. Armstrong: Traditional, bossy pageant organizer sidelined by an accident.

Come to the Royal Theatre this Tuesday evening if you would like to be part of our Andy Griffith 100th birthday bash! Details to follow

 ANDY GRIFFITH’S 100 BIRTHDAY BASH
Calling ALL Carousel members. Carousel is producing a show to celebrate the 100th Birthday of Andy Griffith on Saturday, May 30th. If you remember, we celebrated Don Knotts birthday a couple years back! It was a great success, so we decided to do it again.
For a portion of this show (Act 1), we would like to put together the “Andy Family Singers”. This group will sing along, both as an ensemble and some solos, with the band Keota. This will look and feel quite a lot like the ensemble for “Smoke on the Mountain”, which we performed in 2025. It was GREAT fun and this will be too!
If you are interested, please come to an informational meeting and sign-up on Tuesday, April 14th at 6:30 p.m. at the Royal Theatre. If you are unable to make it to the meeting, just let us know that you want to be in the show. AND YOU’RE IN!!
We haven’t ironed out a rehearsal schedule, but it will be minimal beginning the week of May 18th.
