RECORDING STUDIO UPDATE PART FIVE: In the last 6 months I have gotten enough audio work to be able to leave my full time conservation job and go full time in the studio and live sound (with a couple of cheeky tradie jobs thrown in). I have recorded some amazing artists and been part of some great festivals gigs and parties. It's awesome but the excitement and uncertancy of running a small business is a thing. Not sure if in the long term A.I is going to end the need for what I do, but being part of the process of capturing inspired musical recordings and performances with great gear in awesome spaces and situations is something I love to do. I will be finishing up some albums soon, so if you'd like to come up and do some offgrid recording in my beautiful Blackwood farm in the next few months, hit me up :)

First album recorded and mixed in the newish "Wombat Barn" studio facility for the awesome The Darlings Family Trust. The album is called "Truth Be Told". Launch happening this Friday at the Daylesford Hotel 8PM. See youse there :)

STUDIO BUILD PART FOUR: Flooring and walls finished. Speaker wall and acoustic treatment installed. All hardware and instruments setup. Been putting it to use, recording an album, ep and some mixing work. I found a very nice couch too :)
