I was recently asked by a local high school to assist with shooting a mimed stage performance so as I now have three FS7s and an FS5, I though it would be a good opportunity to test out Lightworks NLE's Emmy award winning multicam edit software.
Each camera's TC generator was set to Free Run and simultaneously set to 00:00:00 using the FS7's remote 'TC re-set' button. This proved to be a brilliant solution as Lightworks automatically made four timecode synced Kemrolls from each of the camera's ProRes files.
A final Conform & Grade was done in DaVinci Resolve but to achieve a seamless Conform, I needed to 'post stripe' the native ProRes camera files with unique reel numbers relating to each camera so I employed the QTChange app for this fast, non destructive solution. Further technical details are in the Description.

Some of you may be aware that I am leading a group of narrow gauge enthusiasts from Australia to Taiwan for a comprehensive exploration of that country's railways and cultural heritage.
