We are a female ensemble committed to musical excellence. We sing 4-part ‘a cappella’ harmonies.

• We encourage the musical education and vocal development of every member.
• We give energetic and creative performances.
• We sing predominately barbershop arrangements in a variety of styles including jazz, pop and swing. Our Mission:
To create exciting 4-part a cappella sound by singing with freedom, skill, passion and enjoyment.

We are all very excited about the Blackheath Choir Festival which is running THIS WEEKEND - we are not performing this year but hope to return next year. If you love the art of song and voices singing together, consider coming along to some of the events!

And, either way, just a reminder that we welcome any women curious about whether Vocal Edge is the choir for them. We rehearse on Wednesday nights during school term times at St Aidan's Hall , Blackheath from 7PM-9:15PM.

We were excited to welcome some new faces (and voices) last night of the women who attended our Open Night! We ran through our regular fun warm-up boogie, a grounding exercise, a chat from our Director Amanda about the artform that is barbershop and what we love about it, then we got to work starting to learn our new song and sing it together. Fun! A lovely supper and a chat after rounded off the evening beautifully.

We are always keen to open up our doors to singers curious if our choir is for them (hint-if you are a bit of a musical nerd, like to have fun singing and are interested to continuously improve, we just might be for you) so please do get in touch.

We meet Wednesday evenings 7pm-9:15pm during school term dates in Blackheath.

Not long to go… our Open Night is TONIGHT! ♫♪♫

Still wondering if you should? Go on..... you will be greeted by the friendliest bunch of women who will even sing a few songs of their repertoire for you. You will enjoy some of our fun warm ups and join us in learning "Better Be Home Soon" by Crowded House.

If that is not reason enough, we will also have tea, coffee and biscuits afterwards so you can stay for a chat and discover more about Vocal Edge Blue Mountains
