From early starts to late nights, these legends help bring Better in Blackall to life and make sure the moments live on long after the festival wraps up.

Looks like the H***y Tonk theme was trying to sneak in early 🤠 these legends understood the assignment!

The street parade was a staple in Blackall once upon a time and based on the response it got on its return last year, we'd say it was missed! Better start working on your floats now... Who's ready to see more western vibes in Blackall in 2027?

Side note, how good does a main street full of horses look?!

At Better in Blackall, we're proud to back projects that make a real difference in our community.

Right now, local legend Natalie Dendle is literally stepping up to help raise funds for the Blackall Hospital, bringing care closer to home for local patients and families.

This winter, she'll be tackling an epic 100km run from Blackall to Tambo to raise as much as she can, and we want to help. For every remaining dollar raised up to her goal amount, the festival will match it.

A HUGE thank you to the legends that helped out at the Black Stump Bonanza bar last night!
We had quite a few rockstars pull a lot more than their weight and we honestly couldn’t have done it without you. You know who you are (because you are absolutely cooked today and you feet are aching), we adore you.

All bar proceeds go straight into the Community Crisis Fund.

A special note to the students at Blackall State School - be kind to your teachers this week, they were a big part of MVP team over the weekend 🎉

It’s that time of year again!! 🤠🍻

Can you give an hour or two of your time to a shift behind the rodeo bar next Saturday?

Every year the Better in Blackall team help out the rodeo crew by running the bar at the Black Stump Bonanza (they catch us back at festival time 😉) and we need some legends to help out!
