A massive shoutout to The Billinudgel Hotel for the use of their grassed space out the back.
It was a great weekend at BilliBoxFest.

The hotel is one of the last original hotels that housed diggers and farmers alike. The bistro is one of if not the finest around for value and quality.

My personal favourite is the Billi Burger. Hands down best burger in 3 states.

The guys there always support local music and the staff are amazing.

It’s worth a day trip just for a beer and a burger. If there’s a band even better.

Rooms available. What else could you need.

Do yourself a favour and head on down to Billinudgel and get a Billi Burger.

Thanks to everyone who came to BilliBoxFest.
I have lost my voice. I’ve also just woken from about 20 hours sleep.
The auction I haven’t added up correct figures tomorrow but from memory it was around $1500-$1700. Well done to those who bid and won.

One thing I forgot.
This festival also wouldn’t have happened without Stan Ceglinski.
8 months ago I floated the BilliBoxFest idea to Stan. His exact words were. “That’s a fu***ng awesome idea. If you don’t do it I’ll bloody steal the idea and do it myself.
I could not have that.
So thanks to Stan for putting the dynamite under my chair to get this going.
Also thanks for your generosity in donating the voucher we raffled as well.
So glad you’ve put up with me interrupting you all the time and asking stupid questions.
Thank you Stan from the bottom of my heart.

A massive shoutout to every single one of our performers and builders. You guys were amazing.
This was the first BilliBoxFest and it will only get bigger.
The Billinudgel Hotel an awesome venue with amazing staff. Thank you for your field.
Konrad Ball without you it would have been a damn quiet event. I may have organised it but our bass playing sound guy is really who made it happen. Thank you thank you thank you brother. I’ll build you another bass and not sell it. You are a legend.
You builders who attended. Thank you. Hope you did ok and had fun.
Birdwood Guitars and killer strings. The strings went out and were welcomed by all.
C. B. Gitty Crafter Supply thank you for the voucher. It went in with our other voucher and has been won by a gentleman who plans on building a couple so he’ll be in touch soon I imagine. Thank you.
All 13 acts thank you. You all rocked. I spoke with a few but you all better be back next year.
I can’t name everyone that was a part of an act somehow but thank you.

Stay tuned over next few days to see final Tally for MND Australia. Tomorrow is shut down site then I’m shutting down for 48 to recharge and start arranging next year.

On a really sad note, it was brought to my attention that Crazy Possum Box Guitars has decided to down his tools. He sold his last guitar this weekend and I bought it as I had to have a piece of Aussie CBG history. It’s a really sad day for our community to lose a great builder. Hopefully he still pops his head into festivals. Geoff you taught me so much online before I met you. Thanks and I’m pretty upset you’ve stopped mate but if you’re happy that’s a win. All the best in the future.

If I missed anyone I’m sorry but thank you.
