After my HSC major work of organic ceramic sculpture ( Arp was my inspiration), I went to Sydney College of the Arts for a year & then switched to Interior Decorating & gained my diploma. Over the years raising my three young children, I explored recycled paper making & paper mache, amongst other things & then went on to a love of decoupage & had a regular stall at Terrigal Primary School Markets
, where I sold my creations. Many years later, after a stint of making bead earrings, I took a course in Mosaics & this has become my first love in the creative department! I love to upcycle pre-loved furniture, both with painted techniques & mosaics ( as you'll see from some of my pics). Whilst I still work at my job, I love my two additional businesses- Dig Up My Ancestors, where I trace your family history & this, making beautiful mosaics.
