🌙✨ WHAT A DAY! ✨🌙

Two performances of A Midsummer Night’s Dream done — and what an incredible job our cast has done! 🎭

We are so proud of every one of these talented young performers. The energy, comedy, character and confidence they brought to the stage today was fantastic — and judging by the comments we heard as the audience left, they certainly made an impression! 💚

The forest is almost ready… and things are getting wonderfully chaotic

Here’s a little sneak peek behind the scenes as The Masked Players prepare to bring A Midsummer Night’s Dream to the stage THIS Saturday and Sunday.

Expect mischievous fairies, confused lovers, plenty of laughs, a little Shakespearean magic… and, of course, a certain donkey.

After all the rehearsing, costumes, characters and chaos, we are SO excited to finally share this production with you.

PERCUSSION LESSONS AVAILABLE

We are excited to welcome Ari to the Emily Calder School of Performing Arts teaching team.

A passionate drummer with several years of playing and performance experience, Ari has performed regularly around Bendigo and Melbourne in a range of ensembles.

His musical interests span everything from rock and metal to jazz and electronic music and he loves sharing his enthusiasm for drumming with others.

Celebrating our wonderful teacher, Lucy

We are incredibly proud of our violin teacher Lucy, who recently performed at The Next Generation concert at Langley Estate — a sold-out performance.

Lucy performed alongside fellow young musicians Ava, Matilda and Michael.

We feel very lucky to have Lucy as part of our teaching team at Emily Calder School of Performing Arts, sharing her love of music and violin with the next generation of young musicians.

Congratulations, Lucy. We are so proud of you.

The Golden Tickets Have Been Found

After an incredible audition process, we are thrilled to officially announce the cast of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory JR..

A huge congratulations to every performer who auditioned. We were blown away by the talent, enthusiasm and courage shown throughout the audition and callback process. Casting this production was no easy task.

Congratulations to all of our cast members, we can't wait to begin rehearsals this weekend and bring the magical world of Wonka's Factory to life.

Keep an eye on our social media over the coming weeks as we introduce our principal cast one role at a time, beginning after our official cast photoshoot. There are plenty of exciting announcements still to come.
