And the winners are...

Voting for the Bendigo On The Hop People's Choice award is now closed. Thanks to everyone who voted for their fav festival beer and venue.

Taking out the People's Choice festival beer for the third year in a row is KAIJU Beer with their passionfruit terpene sour, Cone Alone. Second and third place saw a little movement throughout the day, but ultimately landed with One Drop Brewing Co. fruited mango sour, followed by Brewers Collective with their Cali Cold Rice Black IPA, Semantics.

The award for favourite venue goes to debut venue, the Bridge Hotel Bendigo. Brewers Collective feature again, this time in second place, followed by (kind of) returning venue, Alium Dining.

Congratulations to the winners, and thanks to all breweries and venues that were part of Bendigo On The Hop 2026.

Thanks again from all the team at Bendigo Beer to everyone who scanned a QR code and selected their favourite brewery or venue.

Volunteering has never been so demanding and exhausting.

We started this event in 2014 - before kids, mortgages, senior jobs, businesses, school pickups, after school sports... before COVID neverending inflation.

Which makes 2026 our most cherished and favourite festival so far. This year was a GRIND ... a legit absolute GRIND.

To our amazing volunteers, thank you.

To our venues and breweries who have been doing the grind full time, we hope you got some $ through.
