Meet Kerry Turpie — Founder of Forge Youth Theatre

"Forge began with a simple idea — that every young person deserves a space where they can be creative, courageous, and seen.

After years of teaching drama and seeing how theatre transforms confidence and connection, I wanted to build a community where those sparks could grow. Forge Youth Theatre is that space — where imagination meets courage, and every young theatre artist finds their voice, their story and their community."

From Embers (5–7) discovering play, to Kindling (8–11) building creativity, and Flame (12–14) shaping performance — we’re lighting the way for the next generation of theatre artists in Bendigo.
