🎧 This September School Holidays, dive into a sonic stinkfest of laughs, mystery and family fun for ages 6–12 (and their adults)!

Looking for a family adventure these school holidays?

Step into a world of mystery, mischief and laugh-out-loud surprises with Finnegan the Fart Detective at RPAC!

Slip on your Silent Disco headphones and follow Detective Finnegan and Hamlet as they follow clues, question quirky suspects and hunt down the source of a very suspicious smell. Every creak, squeak and splat comes to life through incredible 3D sound, making you part of the investigation from start to finish.

We are honoured to have been presented with the Community Minded Award at the Bendigo Business Excellence Awards awards last Thursday.

Arena pride ourselves on putting the community first in all our practices. The hard work and dedication that our team puts in to make sure all Arena experiences are full of creativity and fun is key. We have been operating for 60 years and are constantly striving to find new ways to bring the arts to young people in Bendigo and beyond.

A huge thanks to Be.Bendigo for this opportunity to celebrate with all the other amazing award finalists and category winners at the Awards Night! Congratulations to all of the finalists and thank you to the McKern Steel Foundation for supporting the category.

Tuesday 4 August is National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children's Day ❤️🖤💛

National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children's Day first started in 1988, 200 years after the arrival of the First Fleet. August 4th is the date of birth given to children of the Stolen Generation, making it a significant date for First Nations people in Australia.

This year's theme is Living Our Truth, celebrating the journeys Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children take as they grow, guided by culture, community and connection to Country. Together, we can nurture their voices and dreams and support a future where every child walks strong in their identity.

Arena's school residency program Country and Belonging is all about helping children in our region connect with Country. This year, during The Creativerse, 3 years of school residencies will be displayed, showcasing years of young people living their truth. This exhibition is created by Arena in consultation with DUMAWUL (Dja Dja Wurrung cultural enterprise).
