this throwback was a painting for my brother, he was a big Star Wars fan, and one year I asked him what he wanted for his birthday, he said “I want you to make something” so I did, and this was it. His face lit up and he was so glad he got to have a part of Cina at home while I travelled back to Melbourne.

He passed away October last year, today is his birthday. This painting is a moment in time where my art was most appreciated by someone I loved dearly. Hold your loved ones tight, make the memories, create the art.

if you don’t know by now Bon Jovi has played in massive parts of my life and I am always reminded of the power of words through their songs.

a forever fan immortalising my own agenda through art, and being able to teach it to the next generation is a blessing.

*UPDATE*
as you’ve probably seen from my stories and my updated profile picture ya girl has started going in a new direction in terms of Jacinta T Artistry.

If you haven’t seen my art by now, then I’ll give you a little insight into where I’m at.
I started doing this with Pokémon, an interest that was always there but I never acted on it until I started conventions, unfortunately Pokemon is very over saturated and hard to emulate in a niche style so I branched out into Star Wars and Mario for the sake of the audience I was aiming to reach.

Now, I’m moving into a ‘nostalgia’ space, this includes things I have done before, but delving into the little space in my head that holds memories from when I was growing up, but also the memories of my parents, coworkers and friends.

I am very excited to share this new journey with you all, and I hope the support for this chapter remains as I am so grateful to you all for giving this little artist a chance, new things are coming so keep watching this space.
