We are Christi and Tegan, two Bendigo based artists who have created Wit & Willow. We mainly work with ceramics, textiles & printmaking to create art and accessories for you to find and love! You can view and purchase our artworks through Facebook and Instagram or also in person at the Trove Makers Market each month (Bendigo, Victoria).

Playing around with making silicon molds with store bought silicone from Bunnings. I have used some different shapes and textures to mold to get an understanding of the material.

We at Wit&Willow have been hard at work in our normie jobs and being full time Mums while the kids are on holidays making sure we get in all those last minute excursions and fulfilling those booklists!

I have been avidly trying out a whole bunch of new stuff and even entered a beaded art piece in an exhibition next week! (Scars of Beauty at Dudley house)

We are looking forward to what the new year magic will bring us at Wit&Willow!

Took the Family out with cousins in tow to go see some Big Things! Loved Koonamoo and The Big Strawberry!

Recently I have been working my 9-5 back to back days, but have been doing some crafting in the bits inbetween.

I have become totally fascinated with miniatures and trying to capture the essence of what Wit and Willow want to represent.Look out for them at our future market stalls!

Happy New year from the Wit and Willow team!

2022 was full of suprises for Tegan and I! We really challenged ourselves to get our little fledgling business off the ground and without the support and encouragement from all of our friends, family and customer-friends we would not be as motivated as we are!

The last three months of 2022 using our time doing markets and making designs was a perfect opportunity for us to know what it is that YOU love. We will be taking on most of the suggestions given to us at markets to help us to improve in this new year!

I have actually made some New year resolutions in regard to Wit&Willow for this year and hope to learn some new skills to help us improve our customer experience. (If you have ANY secret pro small business social media tips send 'em my way!)

Meanwhile, here are some highlights of the past few months of our baby Wit&Willows life, and a few in progress shots of my holiday projects! (Yes, plural and Yes, none of them have actually been finished yet)😋

Wit and Willow have wrapped up their market season for this year, ready to spend the school holidays plotting and scheming but also with family!🥳🥳🥳

We want to take this opportunity to Thank all the people who have helped us realise that this isn't just a pipe dream by liking, commenting, commissioning, offering advice and purchasing our art! We love you!

We also want to thank market organisers and our fellow marketeers for jumping in and helping get the gazebo up, holding it down in the wind, and chasing after our flying products! (Or telling me my windows are down when it started to rain!!)

🥰🥰We appreciate ALL of you so much!🥰🥰

Our next Market wont be until February, but stay tuned during the next few days as we finalise the pretties for our online side of Wit and Willow. ❤️‍🔥

We have both learned so much in these few short months we have been operating and we are both keen to bring what we now know plus some new products to Next years markets!

Some Wit and Willow Ceramics in the making!🍄

I was in the community studio in Castlemaine recently and thought i would throw a little video together of how I do some of my pieces.

In this video I talk about using coloured slip to make a design on dampened greenware!

Tegan and I are preparing to finalise our Wit and Willow markets for the year, with our two final markets happening this weekend at Gay Stuff Market on the 3rd, and Trove Makers' Market - Bendigo on the 4th!

I will have *a few* Christmas🎄 themed items in the stall with festive gift wrapping to make excellent small gifts, stocking stuffers or ornaments! 🎁

When you're trying to look casual for a photo op while the gazebo is about to fly away 😂

It was a bit blowy yesterday at Trove Makers' Market - Bendigo and we had a few "Beam me up, Scotty" moments... Thanks to every customer and random passer-by who jumped on a gazebo leg like Miley Cyrus on a wrecking ball whenever the wind would pick up. We loved the drama but fingers crossed for a better day to see you all in December 😃⛈️🍄 ~Tegan

Even though OUT in the OPEN Festival Shepparton carnival day has finished, i wanted to share some images from the wonderful day we had!

I had so many wonderful conversations with people while enjoying the music and performances on the stage close by.

It was a wonderfully relaxing and carefree event, and we are grateful to have been a part of it! We even managed to sell some of the kitty brooches and donate to G.V Goulburn Valley Pride Shepparton !
