Everyone involved with the first Benalla Airshow would like to warmly thank the event's sponsors, all the pilots, traders, volunteers and everyone who came out to enjoy the sights and sounds of the show!

It was a bit hot and windy (which is crazy when you think the first date was postponed due to flooding!), but the overwhelming majority of the feedback we've received so far has been very positive and the perfect way to celebrate the Gliding Club of Victoria's 70th birthday.

IMPORTANT EVENT INFORMATION - PARKING
A friendly reminder that there is NO GENERAL PUBLIC PARKING on-site at Benalla Airport for the Benalla Airshow. Shuttle bus services will be provided.

The designated parking area will be at the Winton Motor Raceway Campground with Benalla Bus Lines providing transportation to/from the Airfield. The cost is $20 per car for both parking and shuttle bus drop off and return from the Benalla Airfield. See the link below for more information.

Limited accessible parking is available at the venue for those with valid Mobility Parking Permits.

There will be shuttle buses running EVERY 10 MINUTES between the off-site car park at the Winton Motor Raceway Campground from 8.15am – 5pm.

The Benalla Town Bus Service will also operate from designated bus stop locations from 8.15am to 3.45pm. Click the link below to see more information.

*There is no general public parking on site at the Airfield.

WHAT TO BRING TO BENALLA AIRSHOW..and what NOT to

The show starts tomorrow! Here's a little reminder of what you should, and should not, bring to the Benalla Airshow!

You should totally bring: your ticket; phone and camera; water and snacks; sunscreen, hat and sunnies; boots, wet weather clothes etc; fold-up camping chairs; picnic blanket; umbrella or low-lying shade; hearing protection.

Leave these things at home: alcohol; weapons or dangerous goods; bicycles, golf carts, buggies etc; marquees, large tents etc; pets or animals.

The Pitts Model 12 (aka Monster Stinker) is a large fully-aerobatic biplane designed around the 360hp Russian M14P radial engine and can be built from plans or purchased in kit form.

The Model 12 will be flown at Benalla Airshow by Sky Ace Jesse Jury in an intense aerobatic display that will leave your breathless!
