Gloria Malone Ceramics Quality handmade ceramics Bellingen Ceramic Studios is run by Gloria Malone. Gloria has a studio under her own home. Her main emphasis is on quality.

Apart from attending the Bellingen monthly markets she supplies galleries with handmade ceramic pieces. She also holds regular exhibitions - both group and solo. Whether it is for their market stall or for an exhibition. Pieces are well made with attention to detail. So when you look at a simple teacup, a large thrown bowl or a delicate pair of earrings, the same quality of work runs through her e

ntire range. Gloria loves the interaction with her customers. Or anyone who appreciates the 'personality' of a handmade piece. The monthly Bellingen markets is an ideal opportunity to speak with others about her work. She loves receiving comments on Facebook, website or through email. And sometimes a special request will come out of that discussion. It is very satisfying to respond to someones ideas.

Porcelain Tealight
Slipcast using Lumina Porcelain.
Shellac design painted onto the pot.
A mixture of carving and water erosion to
give various deprhs to the pot wall.
Bisc fired. Hand polished exterior of pot.
Then glazed fired with with a luscious white,
glossy glaze on the inside.
Hand polished again.

Well! What a month that was!
The Shard Sisters' exhibition, 'Held', at Nexus Gallery, Bellingen packed up and went home today.
Thank you to the volunteers at Nexus Gallery.
The time, the care and expertise that goes into managaing artist exhibition every month.
And thank you to everyone that came and supported us.
We'll be back!
