Soirees provide a space to share, watch, laugh and cry as your stories are played back in an intimate setting. Each soiree we choose a theme to generate inspiration for your stories.

It's May the 4th and we invite you to share stories around the forces at play in your life. We'll explore questions around what guides us in our decisions and our path. How are we impacted by broader, local and more intimate forces. Join us for May the Force Be with You, playback style.

Fresh from wonderful success at the Woodford Folk Festival Bellingen Playback Theatre has been nominated for an Arts and Culture award as part of the Bellingen Shire Community Awards program.

We’re super happy Bellingen Playback Theatre is among the exceptional community members and groups being recognised for their dedication, energy, and creativity in making a real difference.

CELEBRATE OUR COMMUNITY HEROES!

Council is inviting the community to join us to celebrate our nominees and winners at the Awards Night: 📅 Friday, 23 January 2026 ⏰ 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM 📍 Bellingen Memorial Hall

The night will feature: ✨ Awards ceremony with winners announced live 🎵 Live music from KT, Memo & Otis with special guests 🍽️ Light refreshments 👥 MC'd by 2025 Young Citizen of the Year winner, Willa Herron
