Two weeks to go for our winter Bellingen Community Markets, Saturday 20 June.

We look forward to a dry week leading up to the event and a most beautiful winters day, presenting over 200 diverse, colourful stalls, plus delicious food and drinks and of course excellent entertainment.

See and hear Cheynne Murphy & Friends on stage from 10am-2pm. Cheynne is a heartfelt , folk-rock singer-songwriter and his music effortlessly traverses the musical terrains of pop, folk-rock and alternative country.

2BBB Community Radio will be on the gates welcoming all. Please support their cause in helping them get a needed new antenna.

Also..... did you know, Saturday 20 June is our Winter Solstice, being the shortest day and the longest night of the year. With clear skies I can imagine it will be chilly, so rug up and come and enjoy winter solstice day at Bello Markets, not just a marketplace, but a great place to be!

Gracias for attending last Saturday.

Super gratitude to Mother Nature who smiled on us most of the day. A good market unfolded and hope so for you too! We have many lovely pictures to share.

A big thanks to our wonderful band Thought & Prayers, ( Deb, Brett, Pete and friends) who added to the chilled groovy vibe. Bravo to the Chrysalis Steiner School who stepped in at the last minute to help us out and welcome all at the gates.

CARPE DIEM to our stallholders and visitors who ventured into the unknown, joined us and had fun!

WEATHER UPDATE - Bellingen Market goes ahead tomorrow Sat 16 May.

Yes the park is damp as you can imagine and we have moved stalls away from the very wet areas.

It may rain a little tomorrow as well, but not much and more than likely later in the afternoon.

We still have lots of stalls attending, so please come and join us and have a good time. :-)

Bellingen Community Markets is approaching this Saturday 16 May.

Don't let a bit of drizzle put you off as it's always a fun day of connection, trade, cool music and yum food.

The weatherman says Saturday will be dry with showers later in afternoon, so lets hold onto that positive vision!

THOUGHTS & PRAYERS join us with their unique harmonies and fresh genre interpretations.

CHRYSALIS STEINTER SCHOOL THORA is our community group and will be on the gates welcoming all while shaking the bucket , so please support them where you can.

There are lots of goodies to be had and treasures found. From local creatives showcasing their art to growers sharing their produce and plants. We have upcycled, recycled, 2nd hand, vintage, alternative therapies, every day necessities, and a food feast.

Diversity, culture, respect, community and cash is alive and thriving at Bellingen Community Markets.

The River Sounds Festival is also happening north of town at Bellingen Showground, so why not make a good day of it.

Hope you can join us this Saturday from 8am-2pm Bellingen Park, just south of town.

We had a good last market. A big thanks to all who attended and supported our wonderful stalls, entertainment and groups. We captured some lovely photos.

We look forward to doing it all again on Saturday 16 May.

Thoughts & Prayers play on the main stage from 10am and Chrysalis Steiner School join us on the gates, welcoming all.

SAMBA SOUL on main stage from 10am-2pm - As one of Bellingen’s own drum and dance bands since 2010, their energy is pulsing with good vibes and fun times.

PLUS

We’re excited to welcome Raji Renshaw for a special pop-up performance on stage around 11am Saturday 18 April! (when the band has their first break). A passionate performer, he advocates for the Down syndrome community, promoting inclusion, visibility, and encouraging others to follow their dreams.

PLUS
