Go visit my flamingo at Dainton Taphouse Croydon

I’ve filled this little guy with hi-float so it should last a few weeks!

I had so much fun creating this flamingo for Dainton! It took me aprox 2.5 hours to make.

The design was inspired by the flamingos from Balloon Story
Thanks so much to the wonderful artists at balloon story for teaching me new skills and expanding what’s possible with balloons. Although I didn’t get to see the flamingos being made at Balloon story. I really enjoyed trying reverse engineer the structure from photos and add my own artistic style.

Such a magical evening at the Belgrave Lantern Parade 🫧

I accidentally created a circle of people around me… twice! 😱

After walking in the parade with the fire performers, I started creating some bubbles for a few kids at the end of the street and gathered a bit of an audience.

Then, on my way to join the fire circle, I paused to blow bubbles for a little girl (also named Poppy! Twins!). Within minutes I circle of people formed around me.

I’m blown away (pun intended) by how many people took a moment to stop and embrace the magic! Thanks everyone who joined me in the wonder of bubbles

Since Auslan day was on Monday, I thought this would be a fantastic time to share some clips from Deaf Festival 2025

We loved getting to enjoy and ‘s show before jumping into facepainting.

Both Bianca (.parties) and myself () started studying Auslan a few years ago because we wanted to extend our entertainment to Deaf children without needing to rely on an interpreter. This is why it was such a dream for the both of us to be invited by to Facepaint at their event. We truly appreciate our teachers and the Deaf community having the time and patience to educate us on their rich culture and language.

Because of this, we spent the whole day smiling and signing through the long queue of faces awaiting to be painted - I’m pretty sure we were non-stop the whole day! When it came time to pack up, our bodies were exhausted, but our hearts were full 💕
