Bega is turning up the volume! 🎶

More than 120 musicians will take to stages across the Bega Streetlight Festival, with performances spread across seven different performance spaces.

There will be live bands, youth performers, roving entertainment and plenty of opportunities to discover local talent.

And for the first time, the festival will feature a Battle of the Bands for performers under 25.

One night. Seven performance spaces. More than 120 musicians.

Bega is going to be making some serious noise! 🎸

Come hungry!

Food is set to be one of the big stars of this year’s Bega Streetlight Festival, with more than 40 food vendors serving up a delicious mix of international flavours and local favourites.

From street food to sweet treats, there will be plenty of options to grab something tasty while exploring the festival.

The Bega Streetlight Festival returns on Friday 25 September from 5pm, bringing the C*D to life with spectacular lights, live music, food, markets and plenty of family fun.

With more than 40 food vendors, 120+ musicians, seven performance spaces, market stalls, late-night shopping and entertainment around every corner, there will be plenty to see, hear and taste.

And the best part? Entry is free!

Bioluminescence is back! 🌿✨

We’re excited to welcome Bioluminescence back to the Bega Streetlight Festival!
Bioluminescence is an interactive video projection mapping program developed to give young people a voice through hands-on workshops, creativity and technology.
Young people work together to develop a site-specific video projection mapping event for their community – bringing their ideas to life through light, art and digital technology.

We can’t wait to see what this year’s young creatives bring to the festival!

There’s nothing quite like the sound of drums filling the streets!

We’re excited to welcome Bega’s very own Japanese Stonewave Taiko Drummers back to the Bega Streetlight Festival for another spectacular performance.

With powerful rhythms, energy and incredible skill, the Taiko Drummers will be performing throughout the night as Carp Street comes alive with lights, music and entertainment.

What does belonging mean to you?

The 2026 Bega Streetlight Poetry Prize will invite local poets to reflect on the theme of “Belonging” in the Bega Valley.

The prize will be hosted by Candelo Books on Carp Street during the Bega Streetlight Festival.

Whether your inspiration comes from the people, places, landscapes, stories or experiences that make this region home, we want to hear your words.

Calling young musicians! Battle of the Bands is ON! 🎤

Think your band has what it takes to take the stage at the Bega Streetlight Festival?

The Battle of the Bands, presented by 93.7 Edge FM, is calling for local bands, duos, trios and quartets to enter!

There are some fantastic prizes up for grabs, including:

🏆 Cash prizes
📻 Radio airtime
🎤 A spot on the big stage at Streetlight Fest
🤘 And the chance to impress our excellent judges, including Lindsay McDougall from Frenzal Rhomb, Eddie Williams from ABC South East and Edge FM A&R representatives.

Best of all, entry is free!

To enter, band members must be 25 years or under and live in the Bega Valley.

$8,000 Prize Pool! Enter the Bega Streetlight Photography Prize 📸

Have you got a photo that captures what belonging in the Bega Valley means to you?

Enter the Bega Streetlight Photography Prize and you could be one of 20 finalists to win $400 each from an incredible $8,000 prize pool!

This year’s theme is “A Snapshot of Belonging” and the 20 finalist photographs will be displayed throughout Carp Street shopfronts as part of the Bega Streetlight Festival Photography Exhibition.

Bega Streetlight Festival is coming! ✨

Get ready for a big night of music, entertainment and spectacular performances when the Bega Streetlight Festival returns on Friday 25 September!

🎶 Battle of the Bands presented by Edge FM will bring the energy, with local performers battling it out on stage.

🤸 Sapphire Coast Gymnastics will also be showcasing their skills with exciting gymnastics demonstrations, including an incredible World Record attempt for the Oldest Standing Backflip! 😲

With more music, entertainment, food, art and light displays transforming Bega’s main street, this is one event you won’t want to miss.
